Christian Louboutin Launches $675 'Starlight' Holiday Nail Polish [PHOTOS]
Christian Louboutin caused quite an uproar when he launched a nail polish line offered at a very luxurious price point of $50 per bottle. Well, the brand is making that one seem much more affordable thanks to its new limited-edition holiday launch, called Starlight, which retails for $675. Check out the ad campaign photo below:
The bottle houses the signature red shade, Rouge Louboutin, and is bedazzled with 1,500 hand-applied, two-tone Strass crystals. The polish is displayed in a black lacquer box that's decorated with leather and crystal flowers straight off the brand's Pensamoi shoe style. Super chic!
It should be noted, however, that this polish is more expensive than several of Louboutin's actual shoes. For example, (Iriza, Pigalle Follies, and Suspenodo.) If you're starting your holiday shopping early, you can snag a bottle now at Louboutin boutiques, online and at select department stores (including Sephora), but be aware that your purchase "will be subject to quantity allocations."
