Miley Cyrus Denies Perez Hilton Twitter Unfollow, Was Never His Follower

Miley Cyrus got caught up in another media headline claiming that the 19-year-old had unfollowed Perez Hilton on Twitter in response to a mean article he posted on One Direction's Zayn Malik.

She denied those media claims and tweeted, "i don't know why everyone's saying I unfollowed Perez I never followed in the 1st place. I have no hard feelings just don't care 2 gossip."

Somehow the singer heard about all the gossip surrounding her, responded back rather quickly and got on with her life.

Unlike some spotlight hungry celebrities who like to purposely invite attention into their lives, Cyrus have time and time expressed her disinterest in gossip and making headlines.  Unfortunately, there is no Hollywood superstar who can run away from the spotlight unless they quit their career and hide in a cave.

Nearly two weeks ago, Cyrus stole the media spotlight by chopping off her beautiful locks to sport a boyish pixie cut.

Many fans felt remorse over the new look while others praised Cyrus for her boldness.  A new twitter account was even created dedicated to hating Cyrus' new hair.   What would the world be like without Twitter?
