'Longmire' Season 4 Episodes - Netflix Saves Beloved, Cancelled A&E Crime Series?

"When Warner Horizon Television came to us with the idea for a new season of Longmire, we were intrigued because the series is so unique, and consistently great," Cindy Holland, Netflix vp of original content, said, according to The Hollywood Reporter. "We are thrilled to help continue Walt Longmire's story for his large and passionate following."

As Warming Glow pointed out around the time of it's cancelation, Longmire was technically a success in terms of ratings and viewership. Unfortunately, the series had an older audience, which isn't great for advertising. Meanwhile, Netflix would probably love to gain this demographic (with a median age range of 60), thus these talks are happening.
