Looks like we finally have the real reason why Benzino and his boo Althea were fired from Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.

According to Zino's former BFF Stevie J, he was sending death threats. Stevie J claims Benzino was out to kill him and his woman Joseline Hernandez.

But if you are a fan of the show, you probably remember when Joseline and Stevie J went in for Benzino and Althea during the reunion show.

Benzino claims that Stevie's allegations is all lies. MStars News has been keeping you updated with all the latest details surrounding the Love & Hip Hop franchise.

We previously learned that Benzino was fired shortly after the reunion brawl that resulted in some castmates being treated at the hospital and criminal charges to be filed against Joseline Hernandez.

Stevie J claims that his former partner and friend Benzino wouldn't let the drama go. The producer claims that Zino has been ranting "threats" to not only Stevie J, but to Joseline, producers and other members of the team.

Stevie claims, "He said flat out he was going to kill us."

Apparently the threats were so big that VH1 decided to pull all ties with Benzino, including his girl Althea.

But Benzino has a different story.

He says, "Stevie J is a habitual liar and VH1 has never given me a reason for being fired."

Benzino believes it's all about ratings and, of course, Joseline's outrageous character brings in ratings.

"They wanted to keep the crackhead whore," he says.

In the meantime, Benzino and Althea have been spotted hanging out with Tamar Braxton and Vince Herbert and seemed to be happy — at least until the love and money runs dry.
