Fans of Breaking Bad have been waiting patiently for the spinoff, Better Call Saul, to get an official release date, and now AMC has finally obliged.

The prequel series will premiere on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2015 at 10 p.m. AMC will then air the second episode of the show on Monday, Feb. 9 in its regular time slot at 10 p.m.

"The series is set six years before Saul Goodman meets Walter White," according to the Better Call Saul official description. "When we meet him, the man who will become Saul Goodman is known as Jimmy McGill, a small-time lawyer searching for his destiny, and, more immediately, hustling to make ends meet. Working alongside, and, often, against Jimmy, is 'fixer' Mike Ehrmantraut, a beloved character introduced in Breaking Bad. The series will track Jimmy's transformation into Saul Goodman, the man who puts 'criminal' in 'Criminal lawyer.'"

Bob Odenkirk returns as Saul Goodman to star in the show, while Jonathan Banks will be back as Mike. The rest of the cast includes Michael McKean (Family Tree), Rhea Seehorn (Franklin & Bash), Michael Mando (Orphan Black) and Patrick Fabian (Grey's Anatomy).
