'White Collar' Season 6 Spoilers: Will Tim DeKay, Matt Bomer Lose Diana Barrigan, Clinton Jones?
The final season 6 of White Collar is already halfway on the USA Network. With 3 episodes left, will Peter Burke (Matt Bomer) and Neal Caffrey (Tim DeKay) end up losing 2 members of their team, Diana Berrigan (Marsha Thomason) and Clinton Jones (Sharif Atkins), due to the Pink Panthers case?
As we mentioned here, the stylish procedural/buddy drama centers on the dynamic relationship between the cunning FBI agent and the smooth con artist. In order to be released from prison, Neal works alongside Burke as a criminal informant as they solve cases side-by-side. Unfortunately, Neal walks a fine line between rehabilitation and incarceration as he dreams about pulling off one last con.
The sixth season began with Peter rescuing Neal and helping him find a way to infiltrate the crime syndicate known as the Pink Panthers. If Neal is able to bring in the Pink Panthers to justice, he wants his freedom in return. Towards the end of the episode, Elizabeth came back home to Peter to tell him she's pregnant; they're going to have a baby.
In our recent recap, Matthew Keller warns Neal that even if they incarcerate the Pink Panthers, the two are still wanted men. Behind bars, the Pink Panthers will hunt them down until they are dead. What good is Neal's freedom if he has to keep looking behind his shoulders and risk losing those he loves the most?
Will Neal and Peter end up having to say goodbye to Clinton and Diana before the case is setlled?
In an interview with TV Line, creator Jeff Eastin reveals that Diana and Jones will "continue on and move up" in the last episode.
The Graceland creator/showrunner adds, "My hope is that people who are real fans of the show, who've stuck with us this entire time, will not be disappointed,"
