Lindsay Lohan's father Michael Lohan and his longtime girlfriend and fiancé Kate Major - who was arrested earlier this year and spent eight months in jail for a beech of parole following a domestic incident - have apparently tied the know in a ceremony so quiet that Lohan's movie star daughter wasn't even invited!

TMZ say that Lohan and Major got hitched "Oct. 30th in a private ceremony at Hillsboro Beach in Florida."

"It was so private neither Lindsay nor Mike Jr. were invited ... or even told," say TMZ.

It was backed up by a celebritybuzz.com report, saying the pair married "without bothering to inform any of his five children from his previous marriage, including LiLo or her brother Mike Jr".

Lindsay, however, "didn't care", says the TMZ report.

Kate had confirmed the wedding earlier this month in a tweet, referring to Michael as her 'hubby':

And Michael also hinted at the nupitals with a nicely placed #forever:

Lohan and Major already have a son, Landon, born in 2013, but their relationship has been far from stable, with Major being sentenced to eight months jail for a DUI that violated an existing probation stemming from an incident of assault, as TMZ explains. She was reportedly released in September.

Lohan already has six children, as the The Daily Mail explains: "four from his 22-year marriage to Lindsay's mother, Dina. He also has a daughter Ashley Horn from a relationship with a massage therapist during his marriage to Dina."

As for Lindsay, she might not care about her father's wedding as she's currently busy keeping her down and staying sober in the UK while performing in a theater production. "Lohan has been based in London for months," reports Radar Online, "where she has been cast as lead star in a West End play entitled "Speed The Plow".

She's also planning a comeback, says the piece. "Lindsay is determined to be a movie star again," a source added in the Radar Online article. "She is still sober and we are all very supportive... We always will be."

Lindsay took to instagram today looking healthy and bright, seemingly unconcerned about her father and simply enjoying life in the UK and lamenting that it's her last week with Speed The Plow
