Watch Hugh Jackman, Garrett Hedlund, Rooney Mara & Levi Miller In Peter Pan 2015 Origin Movie Trailer From Joe Wright [VIDEO]

Joe Wright's upcoming movie tells the origins of Peter Pan, one of the most beloved characters in literature. Simply titled Pan, we learn how a young orphan finds his way to Neverland, a mysterious world where aging ceases and pirates rule. Hugh Jackman, Garrett Hedlund, Rooney Mara, and Levi Miller star and we get a great glimpse at the movie thanks to the first trailer released this week! Watch the video below, which also features Cara Delevingne as a mermaid!

Amanda Seyfried also stars in this magical film from Warner Bros. as Peter's mother, who has to abandon her beloved son at an orphanage. In this first trailer, we see how pirates snatch up the boys from this facility, to bring them back to Neverland, which is run by the infamous pirate Blackbeard - portrayed by an unrecognizable Jackman.

Newcomer Miller stars as Peter, who jumps into an adventure of legend when he arrives in the mysterious land, meeting a man named Hook (Hedlund) and a native princess named Tiger Lily (Mara).

Director Wright is known for his literary adaptations (Pride and Prejudice, Atonement, Anna Karenina) but we're definitely excited to see what he does with the mysticism of Peter Pan. This is also mostly an original story, too, so we can't wait to see how Pater became Pan.
