5 Reasons To See Matt Ryan, Charles Halford, Angelica Celaya 'Constantine' Episodes 6-13 On NBC [WATCH]
We have been loving the comic book/supernatural drama, Constantine, ever since its premiere on NBC. With the last remaining episodes of the season, this is the prefect opportunity to take a look at how Matt Ryan, Angélica Celaya, Charles Halford, and Harold Perrineau, make this DC Comics TV show worth seeing.
According to Variety, NBC has put a halt to production on the new drama series. Viewers and comic book fans will have to settle with the initial 13-episode order. Though the show remains a contender for a sophomore season pickup, it certaily means ratings are of a significance with these upcoming episodes.
Here are five reasons why you should see episodes 6-13 of Constantine.
5) The Perfect Leading Man
Just because we've seen Constantine as a movie, that doesn't mean we're watching the same thing. Keanu Reeves was awesome in the title role, but he played him like a jerk. Faithful to the comics, Ryan embodies the troubled anti-hero as he's dressed in his white dress shirt, a trench coat, and delivers his trademark dark humor.
4) Papa Midnite
As we mentioned before, Michael James Shaw has shown up twice as Papa Midnite, almost stealing the show. In this incarnation, Midnite walks, talks, and dresses like a pimp. We would love to see more of Midnite and Constantine as they switch roles from allies to rivals.
3) Zed
We cannot look away when the Cowboys and Vampires actress appears on-screen. We definitely don't want this to be the last time we see her.
2) The Dark Side Of DC Comics
The Flash is upbeat and Gotham is till a prequel, but John Constantine is a crafty troublemaker in the war between Heaven and Hell. We caught a glimpse of The Spectre in Danse Vaudou. A Feast of Friends shows how Constantine is willing to sacrifice anyone near him to get what he ultimately wants.
1) 13 Isn't A Bad Thing
Some of our favorite TV Shows, such as Breaking Bad, didn't reach 21 to 24 episodes per season. Sleepy Hollow has an 18 episode order and it's already losing steam. Like Hannibal, 13 episodes is just the right amount for Constantine.
Constantine continues Fridays on NBC at 10pm . Readers, are you excited to see the rest of the 13 episodes?
