After making its official premiere and serving up its sixth episode, Constantine continues with an all-new episode on NBC. Based on the popular DC Comics horror title, will John Constantine (Matt Ryan) discover the meaning behind "Blessed Are The Damned?"

Based on the Hellblazer title from Vertigo Comics, Constantine (Ryan) is an occult detective, charismatic ladies man, and con artist all put together. Though he wants to do some good, the troubled anti-hero walks a fine line between dark magic and obsession. In his trademark fashion, Constantine steps out into the world wearing a white dress shirt, a faded trench coat, and lights up a cigarette whenever the dark forces approach.

According to Dread Central, the plot synopsis follows Zed (Angélica Celaya) after she has a bizarre vision about snakes. Though she doesn't understand how to channel them, Zed's visions are quite useful to John (Ryan) on their supernatural missions. The vision quest leads her and John to a small town where a preacher has miraculously gained the ability to heal his congregation.

Until we see the episode and know for sure, could this preacher be Jesse Custer from the Vertigo series? Now that would be an epic crossover.

As we mentioned before, viewers have been coming across characters from the DC Universe, Michael James Shaw showed up twice as Papa Midnite and we caught a glimpse of Detective Jim Corrigan, also known as The Spectre, in one of the episodes as well.

Unfortunately NBC has put halt to more episodes, which means viewership is essential to these remaining episodes of the first season. Here are 5 reasons why viewers should save Constantine.

Constantine airs Fridays 10pm on NBC. Readers, would you excited to see the last remaining episodes?
