The Cake Boss Buddy Valastro has pleaded guilty to a drink driving charge from a November bust where the TLC star was stopped by police for driving his yellow corvette erratically through traffic in New York City. He pled guilty to a charge of driving while impaired, and will have his license suspended for three months, pay a $300 fine and enter a drink driving education program.

As TMZ report, the Cake Boss star and owner of the Carlo's Bakery chain "wasn't scheduled to be in court until February", but copped to actions and went in early "to make things right".

The 37 year old Buddy was arrested, say USA Today, on Nov. 13 after police "stopped the TLC reality star after seeing his yellow 2014 Corvette swerving through traffic". He reportedly admitted to drinking three glasses of wine, but thought he was ok to drive.

According to the New York Daily News, after pleading guilty to the driving while impaired charge Valastro told judge Melissa Crane: "I just want to say I want to apologize to the court, the DA and the people of New York. I can't tell you how sorry I am."

"I put people in danger," he continued, "and I know I'm never going to do this again. I promise that."

Buddy also took to his twitter to explain his actions, saying:

What do you think? Was the Cake Boss's apology sincere? Was that a harsh enough penalty?
