Billy Beane & Josh Donaldson Brawl Sparked Oakland Athletics To Trade MLB Star To Toronto Blue Jays
Josh Donaldson is one of the best players the Oakland Athletics had, and one of the best the MLB has to offer, so it's fair to say the world was baffled when they decided to trade him to the Toronto Blue Jays. Rumors are suggesting it might well have been because of a fall-out between Josh and Billy Beane, the A's general manager. Now he's a Blue Jay, and he couldn't be happier, but will the A's suffer a huge decline because of yet another indecisive trade?

A source revealed: "They got into it in the coach's office. Nobody talks to Billy that way. It did not surprise me in the least that he got rid of Donaldson."
The report suggested that Josh was talking to Billy in a disrespectful manner, some would say his words sounded like he was the boss. When a boss is badmouthed, especially in sports, they tend to use their power to prove a point, and he's done just that. So one can wonder, will this come back to haunt him?
Donaldson was quick to say, "Toronto is a great place, a great city. Every time I've been there it's been very beautiful. I definitely think the elements are there to win. You start looking at the capability of this lineup and the potential that it brings. I'm going to venture to say there's probably not going to be another lineup as potent as this in major league baseball."
Donaldson joining the Blue Jays was a shock, and one that's heavily hurt the belief many had in the A's, all while adding a bigger all-round belief in the Blue Jays and their 2015 season goals.
