Tyler Perry is indeed a father, and has finally revealed the name of his son. MStars News has learned that the actor and director has named his first child Aman Tyler Perry.

MStars News previously reported that Perry's girlfriend, model and activist Gelila Bekel, gave birth to a baby boy on November 30th.

Hints were flying across social media as Bekel's sister spilled the beans that she was an aunt.

According to PEOPLE, Perry's rep revealed that his girlfriend and his son were doing just fine.

"Mom and baby are happy and healthy. Tyler is so excited," a source told the magazine.

According to site, Perry's son's name, "Aman means peace and represents the true meaning of Thanksgiving and then, of course, the holiday season."

Now that we know the name of Perry's first son, we also know some details that happened inside the labor and delivery room.

During a walk on the red carpet for the new flim, out Christmas day, Selma: The Legends Who Paved the Way gala celebration, Perry spoke about the miracle of his son's birth.

"It was the most amazing thing. I was there, I cut the cord, I was in the room, I was helping her breath. I can't even describe it," Perry shared with ET. "It's really fresh. I'm here for about 18 hours then I'm right back to New York because I can't wait to see him."

In the past, Perry expressed how much he wanted to be a father, and now the 45-year-old has been granted that wish with his 28-year-old girlfriend.

"I know I would be a great father," Perry previously told Steve Harvey, during a chat on The Steve Harvey Show. "I don't want to work this hard. I don't want to have all of this and not leave it to my children."
