'RHONY' Ramona Singer, Dorinda Medley Drama- New 'Real Housewives Of New York' Replacing Singer Following Mario Cheating Scandal
It doesn't seem that former star of The Real Housewives Of New York, Ramona Singer, is too happy with her current position on the Bravo TV show. The veteran of the series has been demoted for the upcoming seventh season and it doesn't seem that she is too happy with the girl who is trying to replace her, since Singer is the one that introduced her to the ladies in the first place.
According to Radar Online, newcomer Dorinda Medley, who some may remember from Countess LuAnn's Instagram picture of all the women on their way to an Atlantic City trip, has replaced Ramona as the lead in the series, and Singer isn't pleased about it one bit.
"Ramona is the one who brought Dorinda into the Housewives," a source explained to the news site. "Ramona and Dorinda have been friends for a long time, and she introduced Dorinda to the rest of the women."
It seems that Medley has already found her own groove amongst the woman as well, as a source says she has already started filming for the upcoming season.
"She was filming a trip with the other housewives," the insider explained.
However, when it comes to Ramona she feels that she was demoted so that Dorinda could have the airtime.
"Ramona is furious that she is being replaced by Dorinda, who is a bigger socialite," the source explained. "Ramona is also mad that Dorinda had been negotiating with Bravo behind her back to replace her."
However, despite that fact that an insider for Bravo told Us Weekly earlier this year that the producers were "casting the show around Heather Thomson and Kristen Taekman and Carole Radziwill," it looks like they are actually casting around Ramona, as she is the one who supposedly brought Dorinda to the producers.
