CW's 'The Flash' Mid-Season Finale Spoilers: Twitter Reacts To Grant Gustin, Reverse-Flash Shocker!
The mid-season finale arrived for The Flash on the CW network, leading up to major surprises and revelations for viewers. Twitter followers were on the edge of their seats as they watched Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh) and Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) confront the major DC Comics super villain, the Reverse-Flash.
In our first recap, Barry (Gustin) was just a little boy when he witnessed the death of his mother. In his eyewitness account, Barry described a man in a yellow suit inside the bolt of lightning. While Henry Allen (John Wesley Shipp) was framed for his wife's murder, Barry joined the police force find the man who actually committed the crime.
The Reverse-Flash showed up again, this time in front of Joe West (Jesse L. Martin). While Joe was investigating the case, he even named Dr. Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh) as a suspect. The Reverse-Flash rushed in, stole Joe's case files, and threatened the life of his daughter, Iris (Candice Patton).
In our latest recap, just like in the comics, the Reverse-Flash and the Flash were in a race across Central city, which the scarlet speedster lost. Though the Reverse-Flash was caught in a force field, it didn't stop him from pulverizing Wells (Cavanagh). If it wasn't for Firestorm (Robbie Amell) Barry wouldn't gotten a worse beatdown.
The shocking conclusion led to the secret identity behind the Reverse-Flash. Barry's mentor, Wells, is also the same man who murdered his mother and framed his father.
