The series finale of season 7 finally arrived for Sons of Anarchy on FX, leaving many viewers with questions. After Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam) delivers his last bloodbath, will Nero (Jimmy Smits) and Wendy Case (Drea de Matteo) continue to share a strong bond after 'Papa's Goods?'

In our previous recap, Nero (Smits) warned Jax (Hunnam) that there would be coming back if he did kill his mother. Jax and Wayne Unser (Dayton Callie) ended up at the same place as Gemma (Katey Sagal). After putting a bullet into Unser, Jax walked Gemma across death row, stopped at the garden, and shot her in the back of the head.

During the series finale, Jax said his goodbyes to his kids and to the club, leaving Nero and Wendy as their guardians. While Jax was speeding across the highway on his father's motorcycle, heading straight towards his death, Nero kept driving towards the farm that he wanted to take Gemma to. Jax's kids would grow up on the farm, without their father beside them.

In the last minutes, we saw Abel wearing the club's ring on the finger. Will Abel grow up wanting to be president of SAMCRO, taking over Chibs (Tommy Flanagan)' place? Or will there be a different path for Abel's future, now that Wendy and Nero are his new parents?

In an interview with Spinoff Online, the NYPD Blue actor reveals, "With regards to Nero and Wendy, they both have the similarities that they have, that their sobriety is something that they have in common, so I think that that's the strong bond that they share, or will continue to share. Whatever happens, that's an element of it."

The Miami Vice actor adds, "I think it takes kind of the stink off the possibility that there's a romantic thing: it's more paternal, brother/sister kind. You get that vibe from the back-and-forth that they have, so it functions on a lot of different levels because of that."
