'Sons Of Anarchy' Dimitri Diatchenko Kills & Eats Ex-Girlfriend's Pet Rabbit! Arrested & Charged, Skins & Cooks Dead Bunny, Sends Disturbing PHOTOS Amid Death Threats
Dimitri Diatchenko is a rather disturbing character - both on AND off screen.
Reports confirm that the former "Sons of Anarchy" star was arrested earlier this week after he brutally murdered his ex-girlfriend's pet rabbit. But the details surrounding Diatchenko's morbid bunny death get even more horrifying...
The 46-year-old actor broke up with his unidentified lover several months ago, but they allegedly still share a home together in North Hollywood. Recently, the woman suggested that they finally part ways. Apparently, that upset the "Company of Heroes" star. So on Sunday (December 7), he decided to prepare a rather unusual meal...
Authorities claim that when his ex left the house, Diatchenko killed her furry little friend and proceeded to cook and eat it. Oh, and he captured the entire thing on camera.
According to the New York Daily News, Diatchenko's brutal actions mimic a scene from the popular 1987 film "Fatal Attraction" - Glenn Close's unstable character boils the pet rabbit of her lover's young daughter.
Yuck.
Diatchenko even skinned the poor, lifeless creature before boiling it for food.
The police say that Diatchenko took step-by-step snapshots of the procedure, and sent the images to his estranged sweetheart.
An official statement released by the District Attorney's Office insists that once she got back home, he threatened her, too:
"When she returned the defendant allegedly told her he would do the same to her."
Of course she called the cops, and the "2 Broke Girls" guest-star was hauled to jail. He was released on bail, but now faces four years and eight months in prison if convicted of several felony counts of animal cruelty and making criminal threats. He was charged on Tuesday (December 9).
In the past, Diatchenko posted numerous photos of a cute, floppy-eared bunny named Miss Ella on his official Facebook page. It remains unconfirmed if this was his actual victim.
Diatchenko is known for playing many small roles in television and film, including parts in "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" and "Walker, Texas Ranger." His "bad guy" Russian accent is usually recognized onscreen.
Stay tuned as more details develop.
