Orlando Bloom, Miranda Kerr Split Spending Christmas Together- Stars' Families Celebrating Following Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes Dating Rumors
Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr are showing other couples how it is done. Even though the star of The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies and the Victoria's Secret Angel have called it quits, they are still making their relationship work for the sake of their son. Their 3-year-old son, Flynn, will be able to spend the holidays with not only daddy but also with mommy, and it will all be under the same roof.
Bloom appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show earlier this week to promote the final flick in The Hobbit trilogy, and the talk show host asked what the heartthrob had planned for the upcoming holidays.
The two split up back in October of 2013, but they still remain close, both in friendship and location. Their proximity to each other makes it so that the stars will be able to spend Christmas together with their son.
"He's four in January," Orlando revealed to Ellen, of his son. "So his mom [Miranda Kerr] is really close, which is great. So we'll be able to do Christmas together."
And it seems that the former lovers families are still really close despite their split, as the actor tells Ellen that both family will come together to celebrate the holiday.
"Yeah, her family, my family," the star explained. "We'll all kind of come together."
The star spoke out to E! News following their split, explaining that the two still intended to be a family.
"We're a family and we'll always love each other and we're going to be in each other's lives," the star said. "What [Flynn] reads and know about when he's a grown up is more important to me than anything, We both love and cherish each other and then our boy so it's great."
