DeMarco Murray underwent surgery on his broken left hand after the Dallas Cowboys' away victory over NFC East rivals Philadelphia Eagles. He's taken part in limited and geared practices this week, with a new protective glove over his hand, so we're sure Dallas fans and Fantasy Football owners of Murray are wondering the odds of him playing this Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts. Let's take a look at what the star NFL running back has to say about his current situation so far.

"I'm very competitive person and I want to help this team out as much I can, so whatever that portrays me doing Sunday, then we'll see," DeMarco said this week. "But I've had two good days and we'll see how it goes."

For Fantasy league players out there lucky enough to have Murray on their roster, it looks like this could be a game time decision for the RB if the Friday injury report doesn't clarify the situation. With that in mind, experts are looking to the second team running backs Lance Dunbar and Joseph Randle. These are two solid choices if Murray is out for the Cowboys, but Randle this week practiced in the first team set up, so he is a safer bet.

Make sure to keep up to date with this situation on Twitter (the best source for Fantasy Football updates - we recommend ESPN's Cowboys correspondent Todd Archer) before benching Murray, but try to pick up his backups in the meantime.
