Senator Rand Paul, Jerry Seinfeld Celebrate Festivus On Twitter Following Jimmy Fallon ‘Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee’ Season Finale [PHOTOS]
Happy Festivus, people! As the holiday made popular by the folks over at Seinfeld and Frank Costanza (played hilariously by Jerry Stiller), Festivus has become an uber popular holiday over the years. Of course, not the whole crowding-around-a-pole thing, but at least the airing of the grievances. And this year, it looks like Jerry Seinfeld and Senator Rand Paul are celebrating the faux holiday with a bang, with the latter having some really direct things to say on Twitter to Washington. And it's just in time because Seinfeld just finished up Season 5 of his web series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, which housed Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon.
Using the hashtag #Festivus, Paul took to his account to let us all know, "I've got a lot of problems with you people (mostly in DC)..." But first, he retweeted a little note from George Costanza himself, Jason Alexander.
Check out the Senator's Twitter rant below:
Looks like the Senator is taking the #AiringOfGreivances very seriously, huh?
Of course, Seinfeld is no stranger to airing grievances. Hell, he did so for nine years on the iconic NBC hit. But that didn't stop him and his crew over at Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee from celebrating just a tad...
Readers, how are you celebrating the favorite Costanza holiday? Let us know below. For now, Happy Festivus, all! A Festivus for the rest of us!!
