Now with the holidays having come and gone, it's even more imperative for the first ever College Football Playoff to get here as quickly as it possibly can. As expected, diehard fans of all four teams involved — No. 1 Alabama, No. 2 Oregon, No. 3 Florida State and No. 4 Ohio State — can't wait either. In that spirit, some Florida State fans decided to kill the time in a truly excellent way. Flat Miner Studios, a video game company, has developed a modern-day adaptation to the classic NES game, Duck Hunt. In the new version, there is a Florida State Seminole shooting down Oregon Ducks, according to USA Today. Whether you're a Florida State or an Oregon fan, you can appreciate the nostalgia associated with the classic game, in which users shot ducks flying throughout the virtual marsh to collect points.

Apparently, the game is making a widespread comeback. Forbes reported in November that the game is set to be released for Wii, 30 years after its debut in 1984.

The Rose Bowl themed version includes the Florida State fight song, which plays in the background as users shoot down ducks decked out in Oregon green.

Las Vegas isn't as confident as Flat Miner Studios, with the casino town dubbing Oregon as favorites, according to Vegas Insider. The game will feature the last two Heisman Trophy winners, Oregon's Marcus Mariota (2014) and FSU's Jameis Winston (2013), in their first head-to-head matchup. Both are expected to be high picks in the upcoming NFL draft.

Both also probably played the original Duck Hunter as kids, during breaks of Super Mario. Remember the handheld plastic gun the original Duck Hunter came with? This new version is built for the computer, so you only have your mouse to shoot with. But it's fun either way. Try the game here.
