The December 29, 2014 edition of WWE's Monday Night Raw emanates live from the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. and begins with Edge and Christian, the guest General Managers for the night.

The two do some of their comedy routine and hype up the first ever "Cutting Edge Peep Show" for later in the night. Edge also announces Seth Rollins will face Roman Reigns later in the night. Christian says Rusev will face Dolph Ziggler. He also announces Daniel Bryan will be on the show later. They go to do their flash photography schtick when Brock Lesnar's music hits.

Lesnar and Paul Heyman head to the ring and Heyman hypes the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Edge and Christian don't move and Heyman makes fun of them for being retired. He says Lesnar wouldn't waste time on them and wants to conquer John Cena.

Right on cue, Cena hits the ring and stares down Lesnar. Cena says his New Year's Resolution is to take the belt from Lesnar. He says he has a gift for Heyman and goes to grab him, but it's a ploy to sucker in Lesnar. He tries for the Attitude Adjustment but Lesnar wiggles out and leaves the ring.

Rusev vs. Ziggler ends in a DQ win for Ziggler when Rusev refuses to answer the five-count in the corner. He locks Ziggler in the Accolade in the ropes after the bell but Ryback comes out to make the save.

After a commercial break, Ryback addresses the crowd and shows a clip of himself on SmackDown in 2004. He says after he missed his shot then, he went into a depression, but he returned years later with The Nexus. He shows a scar from when he broke his ankle in three places. He talks about negativity and how he sees that in Rusev, and now he wants to feed.

Nikki Bella (w/Brie Bella) defeats Natalya with the Rack Attack after a distraction from Tyson Kidd.

Naomi tells The Miz and Damien Mizdow that The Miz's agent wants to work with her on future projects, and she thanks him for setting it up. She wishes him luck in defending the Tag Team Championships against The Usos.

The Usos win the match and become the new Tag Team Champions after several false finishes and a splash from Jimmy Uso onto The Miz. Naomi comes in the ring and celebrates with them. Jerry "The King" Lawler interviews them in the ring after the match.

Cesaro is in the ring and he says he has a few things he wants to get off his chest. He says 2014 was supposed to be his year after he won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, and now the decision makers are telling him he doesn't connect. But he doesn't care about that because he delivers every time he steps into the ring. He says anyone back there who can challenge him should do it.

Bad News Barrett comes out and says the only thing that's going to connect is his Bullhammer with Cesaro's head. Sure enough, that's what happens, and Barrett wins the match.

Luke Harper cuts a promo from backstage. He then defeats Jack Swagger with a clothesline.

Cena, Edge, and Christian reminisce about old times and Cena thanks Edge for all their memories together.

Big Show comes out for commentary for Reigns vs. Rollins. Reigns hits Rollins with the Superman Punch at the end of the match and sets up for the spear, but Show pulls him out of the ring and throws him over the announce table to cause the DQ. He then dumps the announce table on top of him.

Rollins thanks Big Show backstage and says he is going to propose a New Year's toast during the Cutting Edge Peep Show later, and he plans to invite John Cena.

We learn that Dean Ambrose and Bray Wyatt will face off in an ambulance match on the first Raw of 2015. Wyatt cuts a promo from the back of an ambulance and says this is where their journey together ends. Wyatt says he has Ambrose's soul already and they won't be able to resuscitate him next week.

Daniel Bryan comes out to make his big announcement. He says it's an honor to be in this ring every single time, and he thanks the crowd for believing in him enough to beat Triple H, Randy Orton, and Batista on the same night at WrestleMania 30 to become WWE World Heavyweight Champion. He says five days after that, he married the woman of his dreams and it was the best week of his life.

But then everything changed. His father died and then he got injured and needed major surgery. He says the doctors didn't know what was wrong and couldn't fix him. All he could do is sit at home and watch as The Authority was driven out of power. He cheered, but it hurt because he couldn't be there to do the one thing that takes the pain away: wrestle.

Bryan says he spoke to his friends and even called Edge to get some advice, because you get to a point at which you have to decide if all of this is worth it. He says he made a request to come out here and announce to the fans that his career is NOT over. In fact, he'll be in the 2015 Royal Rumble match. This draws thunderous cheers from the fans and a loud Yes! chant.

Edge and Christian are backstage playing Bryan's theme music on the kazoo. Miz and Mizdow come in angrily to demand a rematch for the tag titles tonight. Edge says they have a match, but it's not against the Usos and it's not for the titles.

Miz and Mizdow are in the ring for their match. The Ascension make their debut and squash the veterans.

Renee Young asks Rollins if he really invited Cena to the ring. He says yes, and he's in such a good mood that he's inviting Brock Lesnar, too.

Edge and Christian hit the ring for the Cutting Edge Peep Show and bring out Rollins, who boasts about his accomplishments in 2014. Rollins says he doesn't want to be negative in 2015 and brings out his friend Big Show. Rollins tries to bring out Cena, but he doesn't show. He and Edge trade barbs and Rollins says if Cena won't come out voluntarily, then he'll have to force him.

He smashes Christian with the Money in the Bank briefcase. Edge shoves Rollins buts gets surrounded by Rollins, Show, and J&J Security. Show grabs Edge and lays his head on the briefcase. Rollins puts his boot on Edge's neck and screams at Cena to come out. Cena tries to rush the ring but Rollins tells him to stop. He threatens to break Edge's neck unless Cena brings back The Authority.

They have a standoff for a bit until Cena finally relents and brings back The Authority. Rollins celebrates but says he's going to kill Edge anyway. He goes for the Curb Stomp but Cena tackles him. The numbers quickly overwhelm Cena and he eats a Knockout Punch and a Curb Stomp.

Rollins and his cohorts celebrate their way up the ramp, where Lesnar and Heyman emerge from the stage. Heyman shakes Rollins' hand as the celebration continues. The Authority's music hits and Triple H and Stephanie McMahon emerge with champagne glasses. They all celebrate (except for Lesnar, who just stands there looking completely disinterested in the most amazing way possible) as the show goes off the air.
