Arrow Season 3 Return Date Revealed, When Will New 2015 Episodes Air?

The CW's Arrow is in the midst of Season 3, and the midseason finale still has fans wondering where the show goes from here after Ra's Al Ghul apparently killed Oliver Queen in a duel. The 2015 return date for the show has been revealed, so read on to find out when you can learn Ollie's fate.

Arrow returns with all new episodes on Wednesday, January 21 at 8 p.m. Eastern.

The Season 3 midseason finale of Arrow ended with the death of Oliver Queen at the hands of Ra's Al Ghul. After a brief duel, Ra's stabbed Oliver through the chest and kicked him off a mountain.

What we did not see, however, was the aftermath of that duel. But when the show returns on Wednesday, January 21, we will see the reaction of a few characters to Oliver's demise. The following comes from the "Ask Ausiello" column at TVLine.

Question: I was wondering how, after Arrow's stunning midseason twist of 'killing' Oliver Queen, Felicity would react. Felicity was clearly hurt when Oliver kept pushing her away, and now that he finally tells her he loves her - she was his last dying thought! - and now she's lost him again! -Julie
Ausiello: I will just remind you that when Matt Mitovich last Q&A'd Emily Bett Rickards, she had just wrapped filming 'a sad moment' for Episode 10 - aka the midseason opener, airing Jan. 21 - and it had left her 'drained.' (Elsewhere on Team Arrow, Marc Guggenheim told us that in the same episode, David Ramsay 'shot what I would describe as his most emotional scene.... David breaks your heart with his performance.'
