Happy 2015! It's New Year's Day, and what better day to kick off 2015 than with college football playoff games! This year's All State Sugar Bowl will be between SEC champion Alabama and Ohio State, as the top ranked ranked Crimson Tide (12-1) take on the 4th ranked Buckeyes (12-1) at the Super Dome in New Orleans, Louisiana. The game kicks off at 8.30 p.m. on New Year's Day, January 1 - and will be one of the biggest games of college football for 2015. Read on below for preview power rankings and to find out where you can watch and stream the bowl game and watch coaches Nick Saban and Urban Meyer go head to head.
The All State Sugar Bowl will feature two of college footballs powerhouse programs after Blake Sims and the Tide beat Missouri 42-13 to take the SEC title, while Ohio State and third-string quarterback Cradle Jones will try to take the Sugar Bowl and make it to the NCAA Championship Game on January 12 after their huge 53-0 rout of Wisconsin in the Big Ten title game.
Of Alabama, who are also ranked No. 1 in the official ESPN NCAA college football power rankings, ESPN analysts say: "This isn't even Nick Saban's best team and it's still one of the best in the country. The committee has seen that for weeks, and an SEC title confirmed it."
As for the No. 4 ranked Buckeyes, ESPN says: Cardale Jones for Heisman! Or, how about just starting quarterback? The Buckeyes' third-string QB got it done to the tune of a 59-0 rout of Wisconsin."
