Lena Dunham 'Girls' Star Engaged? Did Fun And Bleachers Singer Jack Antonoff Propose To Taylor Swift's Bestie?
Is Girls star Lena Dunham about to walk down the aisle? Engagement rumors have been swirling after the HBO actress and comedienne posted a photo showing off a pretty lavish ring on her finger earlier this week. The star has been dating musician Jack Antonoff of Fun and Bleachers fame for a while now, but could the two have gotten caught up in engagement season and be taking their relationship to the next level?
Dunham posted the engagement speculation picture to her Instagram account last week. In the image, she snaps a selfie while making a duck face and framing her face with her hands, which allows fans to get a good look at the ring in question.
In the caption of the picture, Lena wrote, "This jacket=most beloved find of 2014."
Despite all the engagement talk, according to E! News Lena is waiting to get married until it is legal for same-sex couples to get married throughout the whole U.S. The star opened up during a Sirius XM radio interview with Howard Stern where she commented that she's waiting until her sister, who's gay, can get married.
"We're not against marriage," the star explained, "but I wanna wait until it's something — my sister's gay and it just doesn't feel good to me to do something she can't do. She can do it in some places but not all places."
But she does say that should she get married that Jack will definitely be the one, as she explained, "He's my life partner."
