Teresa Giudice Checked Into Prison Early Monday Morning: Was Husband Joe Giudice There To Say Goodbye?

MStars News has learned that The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice started off her new year checking into prison early Monday morning, Jan. 5.

According to TMZ, Giudice is now an inmate at the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut, where she will be serving out her 15-month sentence for bankruptcy, mail and wire fraud.

The celebrity gossip site revealed that the mother of four daughters reported to serve out her time at 3 a.m. without her husband Joe's support.

TMZ claims Joe was MIA because he had father duties Monday, getting the couple's daughters off to school to start the new year off.

MStars News previously reported that Giudice pled guilty in March to bankruptcy fraud and conspiracy to commit wire fraud, as she and her husband will both serve time behind bars.

After Teresa is released, her husband Joe will be sent to prison to serve out his 41-month sentencing for fraud.

It seems Teresa's eldest daughter Gia will be doing all the talking now for the family as she tweets her feelings daily while her mother is behind bars.

Her most recent tweet was a retweet by rapper Tyga that read, "Hard times will always reveal true friends.."

She also shared that her support system has been there and tweeted: "support system is unreal"

She also retweeted a photo of herself along with some of her support team with her mother Teresa that read: "The 2 strongest girls i know and nothing's gonna change that"

In the last photo below, Gia referred to her mother as her "bestfriend" while sharing the New Year's holiday together.

The Giudices have it real good considering the fact that The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Apollo Nida got eight years behind bars for fraud as well.

Nida, husband of Phaedra Parks, is currently serving his time in Kentucky.
