Miley Cyrus VMA 2012: Comparing Funky Blonde Do' to Pink's is 'Ridiculous'

Cyrus was the center of gossip headlines for the majority of August after she shed her long brunette locks for a platinum blonde, pixie cut look. And when the "LOL" star showed up to the 2012 MTV VMAs, she was rocking her newly dyed mane in a funky, fluffed-up do'.  And which singer showed up with almost the exact same style? None other than Hollywood "rebel" Pink.

Fashion battle sound-offs began to hit the web shortly after (looking at some of the polls, appears most fans prefer the unique do' flaunted by Pink). Here's what Cyrus had to tweet about the hair sitch shortly after the L.A. event:

@MileyCyrus: "Woahh 2 girls have blonde short hair! The whole world should go in to panic mode. Redickkkk."

While the "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)" songstress also hit up Twitter following the VMAs, she had nothing to say about the "copy cat" look sported by Cyrus:

@Pink: "Had so much fun 2night Thanks MTV and VMA's- thanks to all the lovely gorgeous fans/friends. And I'm out. Hello Europe! Here we come. XXX."

So what do fans think? Was the stars' similar red carpet look really a big deal? Or is Cyrus right, it's just hair, leave a girl alone! In all honesty, both singers looked absolutely fabulous.
