It seems that 50 Cent's rant about the new hip-hop show Empire has got some much need attention.

MStars News previously reported that the rapper blasted the new show via social media claiming that the new Fox Network hip-hop show is a copy of his show, Power.

50's words that seem to have disappeared from his Instagram account read: "POWER Season 2 is unbelievably good trust me. I have the best writers and show runner. I like Terrence [H]oward and Taraji Henson. I don't like that They would copy the Marketing. #SMSAUDIO #FRIGO #POWERTV" [sic]

The rapper also posted the photo comparing Terrence Howard's character, Lucious Lyon in Empire, to Omari Hardwick's character in Power.

Now it seems the rapper has a more positive outlook on the show, after speaking with the show's director and producer Lee Daniels.

"Oh 50 he didn't even seen the show [sic]," Daniels stated, according to Hip Hollywood. "I just talked to him ... two weeks ago, he said he was going to come guest star."

Empire actress Taraji P. Henson, who plays the mother of Lucious' sons, Cookie Lyon, heard that Fifty was throwing shade and slammed the allegations that the new show was a copy of his.

"50 Cent is a comedian," Henson, stated in a previous interview that aired earlier this week for The Wrap. "He loves to push buttons. He's a funny guy. I never took offense to it."

"If anything, I thought he was trying to get [a] jab at him," the actress adds, joking, "You know, he's jealous of Terrence, his looks, Terrence is light-skinned, he's dark-skinned, you know, come on people."

Her remarks got a little more blunt on Twitter as the show premiered Wednesday.

"How do you feel about what 50 cent said about you and Terrance Howard?" the Twitter follower asked Henson.

"I pay attention to $'s NOT cents?" she replied.

Howard on the other hand, reflected on his past work with the rapper. He tried to keep things positive by saying:

"Fifty is my monster man. We served jail time together in his film, you know, we've been naked together," Howard said in the video below.

"I love the fact that we're both pushing the envelope with our shows and what it says about cinema and television, how the change has occurred to where black men can be on opposing levels, because we're both telling a similar story," he continued. "So it's kinda great. I'm proud of him- very proud of him."

If 50 is scheduled to appear in the new hit show, he will be joining guest stars Naomi Campbell, Raven-Symone, V. Bozeman, Estelle, Derek Luke, Tasha Smith and a list of others.

Empire airs every Wednesday night at 9pm on FOX.
