'Murder In The First' Season 2 Casting: Emmanuelle Chriqui Joins Kathleen Robertson, Taye Diggs! [WATCH]
TNT has announced a new addition to the growing cast to the upcoming Season 2 of their police procedural/drama, Murder in the First. Emmanuelle Chriqui joins the cast alongside the main stars, Taye Diggs (Terry English) and Kathleen Robertson (Hildy Mulligan).
Executive produced by Steven Bochco (NYPD Blue) and Eric Lodal, Murder In The First follows a complex homicide investigation that spans the entire season. In the first season, San Francisco homicide detectives Terry English (Diggs) and Hildy Mulligan (Robertson) investigate what originally appears to be two unrelated murders. In the 10 episode story arc, the two detectives learn their victims had previous ties to Silicon Valley prodigy Erich Blunt (Tom Felton).
According to Deadline, The Mentalist guest star will play Lara Cruz, a member of the SFPD Gang Task Force. As a series regular, her role is described as "brash, daring and a total bad-ass." TV Line also mentions A.J. Buckley (CSI: NY) will play Marty "Junior" Mulligan, Hildy Mulligan's brother. No word yet on what the mysterious case will be in second season, but we are definitely anxious to find out.
The casting announcement comes out after the Entourage movie trailer was released. Don't forget to our MStars News interview with the Cleaners actor as she dishes on what's to come between E and Sloan.
