'Looking' Season 2 Recap: Jonathan Groff, Murray Bartlett, Frankie J. Alvarez Are "Looking For The Promised Land!'

Kicking off the new year, HBO starts off 2015 with the Season 2 premiere of Looking, After falling in and out of love, Patrick (Jonathan Groff), Dom (Murray Bartlett), and Augustin (Frankie J. Alvarez) are searching for some kind of meaning in their lives as they keep 'Looking for the Promised Land.'

Patrick, Dom, and Agustín head on over to a cabin, which belongs to Lynn, over at Russian River. After a long drive, the trio have arrived there to detox and rethink their problems. Patrick wonders what his relationship status is with his boss, while Dom thinks about being with an older guy. Agustín though is at the start of a downward spiral after losing his boyfriend.

Though Lynn gave them the keys to the cabin, he asked Dom not to touch or move anything. Even as Dom looks over Lynn's  belongings and old photos, he isn't sure about their relationship. Succumbing to temptation, Dom decides to cheat on Lynn and has an affair with a party-goer. Dom leaves the photo album open as he screws around on the bed and under the sheets.

Doris (Lauren Weedman) joins the trio as they head on out to a rave out in the middle of the woods. During the party, Patrick is waiting for the drugs that his friends gave him to kick in. The trio start to enjoy themselves as they dance to electronic music and drift into different directions. 

As the rave continues, Agustín starts dancing with a complete stranger named Eddie (Daniel Franzese). During the night, the two end up running away into the woods and skinny-dip into the waters. Feeling comfortable,with each other  Agustín  opens up to Eddie and reveals he has given up on art, wondering what's the next step for him.

With the drugs finally kicking into his system, Patrick  sends a message out to Kevin Matheson (Russell Tovey), asking him to come over. While the rave keeps going, Patrick meets with Kevin, who drives over to the cabin. They sneak off into the woods and dive into intense sex.

When the morning arrives, Patrick reveals to his friends what happened the night before. Patrick is unsure how he feels what happened between him and Kevin.  Agustín figures he will meet with Eddie again, but doesn't know exactly when.
