Kelly Clarkson 'Heartbeat Song' 'American Idol' Winner New Single Debut: Teases Release With River Rose Instagram Dancing Video In Studio
She's back! American Idol might have just premiered its 14th season last week, but nothing can compare to the original, and Kelly Clarkson is showing us today why first will always be best. The singer has been teasing a new musical project for the last couple months, and now she has finally released the first single from the project called "Heartbeat Song."
The singer has not only been teasing the single for the last couple months, but hours ahead of its released she posted the most adorable tease to her Instagram account of her 7-month-old daughter River Rose Blackstock, dancing and jamming out to her mama's song. The star posted a short snippet of the song, which River couldn't help but groove along to.
"It's here...the first official #HeartbeatSong teaser! Share on KellyClarkson.com - Team KC #River," the star captioned the video.
Clarkson followed up the adorable video with an even cuter picture of River sitting at the mixing board in the studio, putting what we're sure are some killer finishing touches on the single.
Clarkson wrote, "My new producer," in the caption.
The single, just released last night, has quickly made its way up the iTunes charts, where it is currently sitting at No. 15 not even 24 hours into its release.
Kelly took to her Twitter account to express her shock with just how fast the song made its rise on iTunes, writing, "Holy cow I didn't even know my song would be up on iTunes already!! I just bought it haha! #heartbeatsong."
If you haven't already, do yourselves a favor and buy the song on iTunes, you won't regret it.
