'Vanderpump Rules' Jax Taylor Gay Rumors Rating Ploy? Stassi Schroeder's Ex Says Bravo Set Up Drama For Viewers
Is he or isn't he? There has been buzz following Vanderpump Rules star Jax Taylor for a while regarding his sexuality, but the rumors exploded into a whole new level of chatter when cast members addressed them on Monday night's show. Since then the social media world has broken out into a debate on whether or not Jax is gay. However, the star has been speaking out to friends saying that the whole storyline was drummed up by production as a way to increase ratings.
Radar Online is reporting on the scandal, explaining that a friend of Taylor's told them that Bravo created the scenario.
"The network set that up," Jax's friend told the news site. "They want things to look a certain way."
In the episode that aired earlier this week Taylor explained how the rumors got started, saying, "I was a younger model. I was hanging out with an older gay guy. People are going to talk no matter what. People love to throw rumors out there."
The topic was also a discussion on Watch What Happens Live as host Andy Cohen made it a poll question asking the viewers if they thought that Jax Taylor and John Waters, who appeared on Monday's episode of Vanderpump Rules, had hooked up in the past. 96 percent of the viewers voted yes.
Jax took to his Twitter account to address the issue writing, "Well if giving your boy a kiss is gay then they are right!!! I don't give a sh*t what people say."
