Though we saw a glimpse of it in the season premiere last week, this episode dives a bit deeper into the developing romance of Hood and Deputy Kelly. They have normal relationship talks, which is definitely not something we'd expect from Hood - is he really falling for her? We also get a glimpse into Carrie and Colonel Stowe's very sexual relationship as well. Smooth, Stowe!

While Hood and Kelly coyly jest about moving in together, they happen upon a man waiting on the steps to the Sheriff's Department. Covered in white power and Nazi tattoos, he is applying to become a Deputy in Banshee. His name is Kurt Bunker (played by Tom Pelphrey) and he is very well spoken. It turns out he left the "movement" and came home to change his life. Unfortunately the crowd-pleasing new recruit filled the position, Billy Raven.
Proctor is getting back into the drug business. The opening credits were centered on his factory, making for a cool episode introduction. Kai also meets with some of his former associates and current competition from Ohio, who took over his drug dealings in Philadelphia while he was momentarily out of the game. Things go from pretty tense to incredibly bloody in a matter of seconds after Rebecca impulsively shoots one of the other men, causing a slow-motion battle full of gun shots and death. Not so smooth, Rebecca - though that execution kill was pretty cool.
We also learn that Kai's mother is dying. Talk about stress!
So Carrie's officially in on the Military base job with the gang. As Job reveals from his hacking, Stowe isn't exactly a stand-up Marine. He's very dangerous, and is used as the clean-up special operative to take care of other highly trained operatives. Carrie is obviously affected by the mention of Stowe, and Lucas notices, so that can't be good! She calls things off with Stowe, but a creepy, brooding mirror scene makes us think it was a mistake.

Moving back to the season's other antagonist, Chayton is training his Red Bones in combat. He sends two subordinates to straight up kidnap Kai and Rebecca. Also, Nola tracks down Chayton at his makeshift reservation, revealing that she tried to overdose in New Orleans to kill herself. Chayton warns her not to get in his way, but she is just going to handle things her own way.
We see Rebecca swimming in Kai's pool juxtaposed with Chayton taking part in some sort of ritual. As Chayton ends up in a threesome, Rebecca is attacked by the Red Bones. Clay interrupts the kidnapping, though, which means Chayton loses this round.
As Lucas, Carrie and the gang scout out the vault job about halfway through the episode, we see how Stowe handles his subordinates that steal from him. This just makes the job a bit more stressful for viewers - just imagine what he'd do to real thieves!
But the scouting mission is cut short when Hood has to deal with the dead Red Bone in Kai's pool. This leads to a trip to the reservation with Billy, which is basically just a bunch of people telling Hood he has no jurisdiction there.
So it turns out Procter's mom's hospice nurse is Lotus' ex-wife! That was just a cool twist. Speaking of twists, Nola and Carrie strike up an interesting, cool ladies friendship. Unfortunately, this fun moment is cut short by the all-to serious conversation that Lucas has with Deva. In the closing moments of the episode, Hood's daughter reveals that she isn't okay - and then an unseen gunman knocks on Hoods door and cocks the hammer.
