WWE NXT Results 1/14/15: Sami Zayn vs. Adrian Neville for NXT Championship
The January 14, 2015 edition of WWE's NXT airs on the WWE Network and is the first Wednesday episode of the show after its move to the new night to make room for SmackDown on Thursdays.
The show begins with Finn Balor vs. Tyson Kidd. The man formerly known as Prince Devitt beats Kidd after a diving kick to the head off the top rope.
Devin Taylor interviews Bull Dempsey backstage. Bull says Baron Corbin isn't the only undefeated man in their match at the end, and he expects a short fight. At the end, all Corbin will hear is "Bull! Bull! Bull!"
The match begins, and Corbin wins in what is almost a squash after he hits End of Days.
Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks defeat Charlotte and Natalya after Sasha hits a neckbreaker on the NXT Women's Champion and hooks the tights for the pin.
Sami Zayn successfully defends his NXT Championship against Adrian Neville with the Helluva Kick. The champ celebrates, but Kevin Owens attacks him from behind. He powerbombs Sami and kicks him twice in the head. He stares at Zayn and leaves as the show goes off the air.

WWE taped the first edition of SmackDown for Thursday nights this week on Tuesday from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The big episode begins with Byron Saxton's interview with Daniel Bryan.
Kane interrupts and comes out for their scheduled match, which ends quickly after Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury get involved to cause the disqualification. Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns hit the ring to stop the attack. Triple Hemerges and books (surprise, surprise) a tag team main event: Bryan, Ambrose, and Reigns against Kane, Seth Rollins, and Big Show.
The Miz, Damien Mizdow, and Alicia Fox defeat The Usos and Naomi in a six-person mixed tag match. WWE also books Miz and Mizdow against The Usos for the WWE Tag Team Championships at Royal Rumble.
Renee Young interviews Reigns. Paul Heyman comes to the ring for a promo and gets interrupted by Rollins. The two tease an alliance, and Heyman tells Rollins he can take care of him in the Authority's absence.
Natalya (w/Paige) defeats Divas Champion Nikki Bella (w/Brie Bella) with the Sharpshooter in a non-title match.
Renee Young interviews Big Show, who puts his name into the 30-man Royal Rumble match. Kane enters and does the same.
Bad News Barrett successfully defends his Intercontinental Championship against Sin Cara when he hits the luchador with Wasteland.
Ambrose tells Renee Young he is in the Royal Rumble match.
Bryan, Ambrose, and Reigns defeat Rollins, Kane, and Big Show when Bryan pins Kane. Triple H comes out as the babyfaces celebrate and books Bryan vs. Kane for Monday Night Raw with the stipulation that Bryan is out of the Rumble if he loses.
