Victoria Justice, Ariana Grande Feud? 'Eye Candy' Star Not Fighting With 'Sam & Cat' Lead – Doesn't Blame Her For 'Victorious' Cancellation [VIDEO]
Victoria Justice is putting those pesky feud rumors about her and Ariana Grande to bed once and for all. The star of MTV's new series Eye Candy was stopped at the airport by a paparazzo and was asked about her relationship with Grande now that Victorious has been off the air for a few years. While it has been rumored for a while that Justice was responsible for the cancellation of the Nickelodeon show when she decided to pursue her own music project, the actress is setting the record straight.
In the clip, a paparazzi caught up with Justice while at the airport to ask her what her opinion on the rumors are that she broke up the show with Grande.
"I didn't break up anything," Victoria told the paparazzi who approached her. "That's complete misinformation. I had no control over leaving the show or the show ending. That was completely up to Nickelodeon and the executives."
She also added to TMZ that she has no ill feelings towards anyone who was a part of the series.
"I loved the cast, and I loved doing Victorious," she explained. "Me going on tour when I did had nothing to do with whether or not there was a Victorious tour. I don't think it's fair to blame it on me, because I don't think it's true."
The star also addressed the topic of a feud with Ariana saying, "There's no feud. We're not best friends, but at the end of the day I wish her well, and she's doing great and I'm happy for her. We're on different paths, doing our own thing."
