Gangnam Style Today Show: Live Debut in America Takes Psy and Kpop To New Heights
"Gangnam Style" on the Today Show was Psy's first live debut performance in America. Even though the South Korean rapper is a newbie to the American pop scene, thousands of fans gathered to see his outrageously funny and infectious performance live. They have proven that they've already become familiarized with Gangnam Style's horse dance and lyrics.

"Gangnam Style" was sung in its original Korean language with the limited english phrase "Hey Sexy Lady." The entire crowd went wild and sang along word for word.
Some fans camped outside overnight in order to experience "Gangnam Style" live.
"I can't believe I got to see Psy. He is so amazing live, and I was so pumped! I think he'll be around for a long time," gushed a Mexican-American fan Edna Mendoza.
Kpop is gaining more popularity worldwide thanks to its smart business move to use the internet extensively. Copyrights are not as strong compared to America, so music spreads quickly.
Korean stars have been trying to penetrate the US market with no success, but they feel that Psy can pave the way for a new generation of Kpop stars. Is Psy's Gangnam Style just a one hit wonder? Does Kpop have more to offer to Americans?
