Gangnam Style Takes Over iTunes Chart At No. 1, Psy is Proud
Psy proudly shared on Twitter about "Gangnam Style's" amazing accomplishment of reaching the No. 1 spot on the iTunes chart. The South Korean rapper tweeted, "Let me proudly introduce #1 song of itunes single chart in US #gangnamstyle."
Psy becomes the first Asian solo artist to reach the No. 1 on the iTunes chart. He has been setting new records for Asian artists since his hit song "Gangnam Style" has become viral.

Since the debut of the music video on July 15, 2012, it has reached 190 million Youtube views. He captured the attention of Justin Bieber's manager Scooter Braun and signed onto Schoolboy Records a few weeks ago, and the rest is history.
He has appeared at the MTV VMAs, Ryan Seacrest's radio show, NBC's Today Show, Ellen DeGeneres and Saturday Night Live all within a couple of weeks.
