CW's 'The Flash' Premiere: Twitter Reacts To Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell's 'Prison Break' Reunion!

The Flash returned on the CW network after its mid-season break. To mark the premiere episode, Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) had his hands full as Twitter reacted to the highly anticipated reunion of the Prison Break actors Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell, as Captain Cold and Heat Wave.    

In his first appearance, Leonard Snart, Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) had stolen a freeze ray, an invention Cisco (Carlos Valdez) had made, from S.T.A.R. Labs. The Flash raced against time as he attempted to save the passengers after Cold derailed the railroad train. Even though the scarlet speedster had won, Cold promised he would return with his partner, Mick Rory (Dominic Purcell), aka Heat Wave.

In our recap, Captain Cold and Heat Wave kidnapped Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) to get the Flash's attention. The two super villains tore up the streets as they fired their weapons at the red streak. The Flash had to slow his speed down, in order for Cold and Heat Wave to hit each other with their own beams. 

The episode ended with the duo breaking out of their prison van, thanks to Captain Cold's sister. Check out our 5 reasons why we loved this episode.
