Nicki Minaj wants things her way - that's why the YMCMB rapper's recent release The PinkPrint was such a huge success. But is the "Only" songstress a little too intimidating... even when it comes to her personal love life?
In a recent BET.com interview with the popular Chicago-based production team Da Internz (including hip-hop masterminds Marcos "Kosine" Palacios and Ernest "Tuo" Clark), the two producers talked about what it was like working with Minaj on the infamous twerking video for "Anaconda." It was definitely an experience! Kosine explains:
The process was very intense - like going into the battlefield with one of the greats of our time. You know, Nicki is a tough cookie, and she had the high standards. She didn't give us the freedom to do whatever the hell we wanted to do. Nicki sat right in front of us and we worked on that track together. So it was intense because, you know, if I'm going to be 100 about it: she's a little intimidating. That stature. That face. Her eyes. It's not easy to play the piano with Nicki standing there. So, with that being said, it was intense, but it was also an incredible experience because it was our first time ever working with her inside the studio.
Perhaps such a headstrong attitude turned both Safaree Samuels and Meek Mill totally off? Now, Minaj is single because of it...
