FX's 'The Strain' Season 2 Spoilers: Will Guillermo Del Toro Ask Corey Stoll, Mía Maestro To "Fight Or Die?" [WATCH]
FX has released a new teaser trailer for the upcoming Season 2 of The Strain. Based on the Dark Horse Comics adaption of his own vampire novels, will visionary director Guillermo Del Toro force Ephraim Goodweather (Corey Stoll) and Nora Martinez (Mia Maestro) to "fight or die" against The Master?
The first season followed Ephraim Goodweather (Stoll) and Nora Martinez (Maestro) as they discovered a deadly vampire plague spreading across New York City. As they search for a cure, an old and retired vampire hunter, Abraham Setrakian, (David Bradley) and a rat exterminator, Vasiliy Fet (Kevin Durand) join the crusade to defeat the ancient evil. They must all work together to save the world from The Master.
Released on the FX Youtube channel, the teaser trailer picks up right after the season finale. Eph saw the tall buildings of the Big Apple up in flames. The camera looks down on the Statue of Liberty and we see the fire spreading. On top of rooftops, a frightening message has been written in blood, "Fight or Die."
Narrating in the footage, Setrakian (Bradley) states, "The battle has begun. Evil is spreading., changing the human race....literally...turning us into monsters. We must fight, all of us."

We previously mentioned, El Infierno actor Joaquín Cosío joins the cast playing the former masked Mexican wrestler, The Silver Angel. With a bad knee, the whole world has forgotten of his trademark signature move in the ring and wrestling movies.
Expect a major change as Max Charles replaces Ben Hyland as Zach Goodweather. When we last saw Eph's on in the series finale, Zach was at the start of a downward spiral after witnessing his mother being turned into a vampire.
We have 5 reasons why you should get the first season of The Strain on DVD and Blu-Ray.
Season 2 ofThe Strain is expected to return this summer 2015.
