Scotty McCreery Honored on Billboard's Hot "21 Under 21" Among Other Big Names Bieber, Cyrus, One Direction

American Idol winner Scotty McCreery has a lot to celebrate these days, especially his receiving recognition on Billboard's "21 Under 21: Music's Hottest Minors 2012" list. McCreery snagged the no 4 spot on an impressive list flanked with young Hollywood big-names including Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, and the boys of One Direction.

Since winning "American Idol" season 10, 18-year-old McCreery hit the road with country stars Brad Paisley and the Band Perry in a successful 2012 concert tour. The "I Love you this Big" singer's fresh yet impressive music career has also been honored at the ACM Awards and the CMT Music Awards. McCreery's first studio album, "Clear as Day," debuted on the Billboard Top 200 at no 1, making McCreery the first country act to ever do so in Billboard's history.

While Billboard's "21 Under 21" top three spots went to Demi Lovato (3), One Direction (2), and Justin Bieber (1, obviously), McCreery has proved he's definitely a musical force to be reckoned with come 2013.
