'Justified' Season 6 Recap: Timothy Olyphant, Walton Goggins' Raylan Givens, Boyd Crowder Meet In "Cash Game!"

Based on the crime novels of Elmore Leonard, the final Season 6 season ofJustified continues on FX. The showdown between cop and criminal begins as Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant) and Boyd Crowder (Walton Goggins) have their first confrontation in 'Cash Game.'

Ty Walker (Garret Dillahunt) meets with an old married couple, talking about their property. After refusing to make a deal with him, Ty backs away. During the middle of the night, Ty returns with his henchmen to kill them. 

Katherine Hale (Mary Steenburgen) and Wynn Duffy (Jere Burns) have a meeting with Boyd. The money that was supposed to be in the bank wasn't here. Boyd did everything they told him, but there's wasn't anything valuable in the safety deposit box.

The argument intensifies when Katherine mentions Ava. How did she manage to be released from prison so early? Katherine and Wynn have their doubts about Ava, wondering where Boyd's loyalty lies.

Ava shows Raylan the papers Boyd left lying around in the barn, which lead back to the bank robbery. Raylan has doubts about how she got the info so easily. She immediately figures it out that Boyd planted them to test her. 

Boyd is waiting for Ava at home, angry that she took the papers from the barn. Ava reminds him, that if she left the incriminating evidence on her property, she would be the one going back to jail. Pretending to be the disappointed one, Ava manages to fake out Boyd this time.

Raylan visits the deposit box's owner but figures out what's really going on from his secretary. She lays out everything that happened, including the ledger that was supposed to be used for blackmail. Now Boyd has the ledger and is blackmailing him ironically. 

Ty sends his henchmen to tail Raylan and Tim, but they are soon spotted. Raylan and Tim play a game with the paramilitary henchmen, learning about their past history.  

While Ty gets Boyd's name from frightening the bank manager, Katherine is in bed with with her lover (Sam Elliott). She's not really sure what to do, knowing someone is stealing money from her. Her lover gives her advice, which could lead to the death of her mole. 

Raylan and Boyd, with the briefcase in his hands, meet outside the office. In their standoff, Raylan hints at the robbery and that Boyd has the stolen item. To dodge prison time, Boyd hands over the ledger he was hoping to use for blackmail.  

Ava meets with Boyd at his bar, but he's too angry to speak. She makes the connection about the paperwork that makes Boyd very happy. Even though Boyd kisses her, Ava's still frightened of him. 

Tim and Raylan meet up with Ty and his henchmen at their hideout. Rylan remembers from his childhood that the old pizza place used to be a bank.
