Richard Sherman and Longtime Girlfriend Ashley Lillian Moss Confirm They Are Expecting a Baby Boy 'Any Day Now' [DETAILS]
Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman is going to be a father! MStars News has learned that Sherman confirmed that he and his longtime girlfriend Ashley Lillian Moss are expecting their first child together, and the baby's going to be a boy! The baby's expected "any day now."
After we previously reported that pregnancy rumors were swirling around that Ashley had a baby bump that she didn't seem to reveal to the public, Sherman confirmed that she was pregnant, as he wrote in an editorial for Peter King's Monday Morning Quarterback.
According to Q13Fox, Sherman wrote, "My girlfriend, Ashley, and I are expecting our first child, a boy, any day now."
Sherman noted how his girlfriend's pregnancy has changed his life for the better and claimed that he will be a great role model for his son.
"I've realized in the last year that I can evoke change by being a great role model: a man who respects women and police officers, who graduated from college and does everything in his power to be successful within the rules," Sherman stated.
Sherman also reflected on his behavior in the past year and said that "little slights" don't affect him as much as they use to.
MStars News previously reported that Sherman's comments went viral during last year's Super Bowl, when he ranted in front of cameras about his opponent Michael Crabtree.
Sherman said after last year's Super Bowl win:
"I'm the best cornerback in the game. When you try me with a sorry receiver like [the San Francisco 49ers's Michael] Crabtree, that's the result you are going to get. Don't you ever talk about me."
The Fox reporter interviewing Sherman last year said, "Who was talking about you?"
"Crabtree," Sherman angrily shot back. "Don't you open your mouth about the best, or I'm going to shut it for you real quick."
Now Sherman said, "It takes a little bit more to move the needle -- winning a Super Bowl will do that" in the editorial piece.
Sherman, and his teammates, including the outspoken "I here so I won't get fined," Marshawn Lynch, are looking to win their second Super Bowl this Sunday, Feb. 1, when the Seahawks take on the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLIX in Glendale, Arizona.
