President Obama has put his stamp on a new flag for the Obama campaign called, "Our Stripes." Creators of the flag, artists: Ross Bruggink and Dan Olson, replaced the stars with an "O" taken from the Obama logo.

Republicans took their frustrations to the media as the image created internet frenzy today. Republican Party Chairman, Reince Priebus tweeted, "Obama States of America? Wow."

Obama's campaign explained the imagery to unite than divide saying, "A poster to say there are no red states or blue states, only the United States," people are attacking the campaign's artistic move. Michelle Malkin, Blogger of MichelleMalkin.com said, "'O' SAY CAN YOU SEE...Obama's new American Flag!?! Narcissist-in-chief strikes again. Unbelievable."

Just recently, Artist, Shepard Fairey, who was responsible for the "Hope" poster of the 2008 election was placed on probation for two years, sentenced to 300 hours of community service, and ordered to pay a $25,000 federal fine.

On a lighter note, the styling of the new campaign poster surely resembles Jay-Z "Blue Print 3" album cover. Maybe Jay Z gave his input of the new poster at the fundraiser he and Beyonce hosted this past week while raising $4 million dollars that evening? Just food for thought.
