50 Shades of Grey Movie Casting: Why Ryan Reynolds And Blake Lively Could Be Casted

The "50 Shades of Grey" casting of Christian Grey seems to be very competitive with a list of sexy men that are favorites to play the handsome sex crazed character. Majority of the fans are leaning towards Ian Somerland, Matt Bomer, Henry Cavill, or Alexander Skarsgard.  

However, the casting favorite of Christians laid-back, curly blonde haired brother, Elliot Grey, would be Kellan Lutz, According to Books and Review. Though Lutz played in Twilight, he may not be casted in the new sexy film because E.L. James may want to avoid comparisons between the two films. Originality is an important key and every creative writer wants to keep their distance from other writer's artistic style even when their transitioning from books to films.

The newly married Ryan Reynolds may be the next choice. He may need to dye his hair blonde but he definitely is witty enough to play the role, and in a perfect world his wife, Blake Lively, would play Kate Kavanagh who is Anastasia Steele's best friend. Reynold's and Lively's characters both end up falling for each other, and fans would love to see their onscreen romance unfold.

Tough decision for the casting director, but they did add more to the potential line up. Possibly, Star Wars actor Hayden Christensen, Supernatural star Jensen Ackles, and Liam Hemsworth who played in The Hunger Games. If the Casting fails in the first films, well then there's no point on a sequel.
