Supernatural Season 10 Spoilers: Sam Flashbacks, Word of God Storyline

The CW's Supernatural is in the midst of Season 10, and the Mark of Cain storyline with Dean Winchester has been driving the show forward for much of its tenth season. But what about the rest of the characters?

The "Matt's Inside Line" column at TVLine has scoop on both Sam Winchester and another recent plot point. First, let's talk about Sam.

"Can you give us anything on Supernatural's Sam? -Maria

'We probably will not see flashbacks' from the Winchesters' time apart, executive producer Jeremy Carver admits. But there's still a big Sammy story brewing. 'What starts as a desire to help Dean [sends] Sam on very much his own journey by season's end. But the starting off point is most definitely, 'How am I going to help my brother?''"

The column also has some information on the tablets that were prominent in Seasons 8 and 9. Could they return?
