Jessica Sanchez, 'American Idol' Star Misses Boyfriend DeAndre Brackensick while Enjoying Philippines

Jessica Sanchez made such a splash in the Philippines on the last leg of the 2012 "American Idol" concert tour that she has decided to stick around and enjoy the country for a few more weeks. But there are two things the 17-year-old songstress now utterly misses back stateside - boyfriend DeAndre Brackensick and her fellow "American Idol" season 11 crew.

On Sunday Sanchez posted this message on Twitter:

@JSanchezAI11: "I miss @BrackensickAI11 :/ I miss my idol family :(."

The feeling seems mutual, as Brackensick tweeted Sanchez back soon after:

@BrackensickAI11: "In LA right now, missin my gurl @JSanchezAI11 :/."

Sanchez (along with Brackensick and fellow "American Idol" season 11 finalists) played her last show at Quezon City's Smart Araneta Coliseum in the Philippines on Friday (Sept. 21). Sanchez and Brackensick both seemed to thoroughly enjoy the entire touring experience, neither one wanting it to end following the final performance:

"American Idol" season 11 runner-up Sanchez began dating eighth place winner Brackensick this summer while on tour. The couple confirmed their relationship through Twitter in July.

Sanchez decided to remain in the Philippines following the "American Idol" tour to work on a number of endorsement deals. She is now an international spokesperson for the popular Filipino clothing company Bench and she plans on becoming a celebrity sponsor for the multinational Filipino fast food chain restaurant Jollibee.  Sanchez's mother is Filipino, and the community welcomed the "American Idol" star with high praise and admiration.
