'Pretty Little Liars' Spoilers: 'Big A' Revealed, Marlene King Talks Lucy Hale, Ashley Benson and Shay Mitchell's Tormentor's Identity and When Viewers Will Find Out
Pretty Little Liars is about to drop a huge bombshell on fans, and yes. it's the one we've been waiting five years for. The ABC Family drama is about to reveal the name of "Big A." While we have had teases in the past like Mona's life as 'A,' and then the 'A' team, creator Marlene King promised that viewers will soon find out who has been tormenting Aria (Lucy Hale), Emily (Shay Mitchell), Hanna (Ashley Benson) and Spencer (Troian Bellisario) for the last few years.
King sat down with E! News to talk about all things 'A' and to explain what this big reveal means for fans of the series.
"I know a lot of people were afraid that they would have to wait until the end of Season 7 to find out who Big A is, and we made it clear that they don't," the creator explained, making super fans like us breathe a sigh of relief.
The show, currently airing the second half of its fifth season, seems like it will be making moves to lead up to the big reveal come the end of this season and the beginning of the next one, as King says fans will know a lot about Big A before Season 7 starts.
"You will find out before Season 7 and the story of Big A," King explained. "I can't wait to share the story. The identity of Big A is really cool, but to me, what I always loved most about Big A is the story of Big A, the motivation, what's behind it all."
While we are super excited to find out who is behind it all, it seems like Marlene is even more excited to let fans in on the show's biggest secret.
"I haven't been that excited to share something with the fans since Mona's reveal," she said.
As for what is to come on tonight's episode, newcomer Miranda Rae Mayo, who plays Talia, Emily's new love interest on the series, tells TV Line that their connection will take center stage in the weeks to come.
"Just like everyone in Rosewood, Talia definitely has some secrets, and those secrets may affect Emily," the star stated, adding, "All will be revealed in the weeks to come."
Pretty Little Liars airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on ABC Family.
