'Marvel's Daredevil' Spoilers: Will Charlie Cox, Vincent D'Onofrio, Deborah Ann Woll "Save City" On Netflix? [WATCH]
With an April release date set, Netflix has released a teaser trailer for their upcoming superhero series, Marvel's Daredevil. As viewers discover the man without fear's origin, will Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) and Karen Page (Deborah Annn Woll) save their city from Wilson Fisk, The Kingpin (Vincent D'Onofrio)?
As we previously mentioned, Matt Murdock (Cox) was a young boy when he was struck blind after a near fatal car accident. Though everyone thinks he lives in complete darkness, radioactive chemicals have given him back his sight. By day, Murdock pretends to be a blind lawyer attending courtroom battles. But when darkness falls, Daredevil serves out his own brand of justice protecting Hell's Kitchen against crime.
We mentioned before, Marvel had announced the premiere date with a new motion poster. The footage shows Hell's Kitchen under fire, with the flames forming the hero's calling card, his trademark initials, DD.

In the teaser trailer, we see Murdock in his back ninja outfit, which is inspired from Frank Miller/John Romita Jr.'s run. There's a cut on his bleeding arm too. In the green-lit hallway, which seems straight out of a Saw movie, Daredevil walks across to a door. Notice how he nods his head over to the right, as if his ears sense something in that direction. The trailer cuts to black when he opens the door.
In his voiceover narration, Cox states, "I'm just trying to make my city a better place."
Released on the official Marvel Entertainment YouTube account, the caption states, "See the world premiere of the new trailer for "Marvel's Daredevil" - tomorrow, February 4th! All episodes available April 10, only on Netflix."
