'Lost', 'Lord of the Rings' Star Dominic Monaghan Has A Delusional, Suicidal Stalker: Evangeline Lilly Ex-Boyfriend Gets Restraining Order Taken Out Against Fan

Lord of the Rings and Lost star Dominic Monaghan reportedly has a suicidal and delusional stalker, one who has apparently been sending him explicit and abusive emails and bombarding his social media accounts. The X-Men actor and star of Wild Things with Dominic Monaghan has reportedly taken a restraining order out against the fan who won't stop sending him messages, meaning she can't come within 100 yards of the star. 

TMZ report that Monaghan -- who played Merry in the Lord of the Rings franchise and Charlie in Lost -- has filed legal documents that "Meredith McLarty says she's been in love with him since 2001 ... even before "Lost" became a thing."

They add that Monaghan -- who dated Lost co-star Evangeline Lilly off-and-on for five years, and who he accused of cheating on him -- had told the court that the obsessed fan has "flooded his inbox with emails and posted countless messages on his social media accounts."

As WENN explain, "The actor filed legal documents against Meredith McLarty," and the court has ordered she can no longer contact him.

Some of the things the fan has said include "I admit that I was very suicidal when you were mean to me @DomsWildThings I felt ugly. It really hurt me" and "Come over here and stick it in! @DomsWildThings."

The fan also tweeted at Monaghan "People have been calling the police saying they're you @DomsWildThings and you're gonna press charges on me if I don't stop tweeting you."
